AI BUIDL Lab is a virtual hackathon hosted at Dorahacks where developers, creatives, and innovators come together to build AI-powered Web3 applications on Rootstock. Running from April 10 to 30, the event offers $15,000 in prizes and is supported by Alchemy and Thirdweb.

Anyone with a passion for building is welcome! Whether you’re a seasoned developer, a designer, a product thinker, or an AI enthusiast — you can join AI BUIDL Lab. You can participate solo or as part of a team. The only requirement is that your project uses AI in some way and is deployed on the Rootstock testnet.

Not at all! AI BUIDL Lab is open to both beginners and experienced builders. We’ll provide guides, tutorials, and community support to help you get started with deploying on Rootstock. If you're new to Web3, this is a great opportunity to learn by doing — and AI tools can help speed up the process.

At the AI BUIDL Hackathon, you can build any dApp on Rootstock using AI to enhance your development. Choose from three tracks to guide your project: DeFi & Payments, E-Commerce & Gig Economy, and Identity & Reputation in Web3.

Your project will be evaluated by a panel of judges from RootstockLabs, Alchemy, and Thirdweb. Be sure to review the submission guidelines to ensure your project meets all requirements.

Yes, mentorship is available through our Discord channel, and we’ll also offer interactive experiments during the hackathon submission period to assist you.
